One Team, From First Sketch to Final Punch List
Masters Construction was assembled deliberately. Our principal builder spent more than four decades on high-end estate carpentry; our interior lead built a portfolio across Europe, New York, and Japan before settling in the Pacific Northwest; our project managers came up through structural and finish trades, not from a sales desk.
We came together in 2023 to give Portland and Vancouver clients a single team that could carry a project from a first conversation through occupancy without handing it to a stranger halfway through.
We work in deliberately small numbers — a handful of concurrent projects, never more. The principal who walks your property at discovery is the same person reviewing the final punch list, and one project lead is assigned to your build from day one.
Designers, engineers, cabinet shops, stone fabricators, and field crews all coordinate inside a single shared model, so the kitchen elevation, the shear-wall plan, and the lighting schedule never disagree.
Our typical client is a homeowner across Lake Oswego, West Linn, Portland Heights, Camas, or Vancouver who has lived with the house long enough to know exactly which compromises they're tired of. Engagements range from a single primary-suite reimagining to ground-up custom homes, and many combine a renovation, an addition, and an outdoor-living envelope into one coordinated build.
The goal in every case is the same: a finished home that feels inevitable, as if it could not have been built any other way.

Masters Construction was founded in 2023 by Christopher Magdici, a second-generation builder. Our lead builder has been building across the Portland metro since 1998, and the rest of the team came up through structural, finish and interior trades rather than a sales desk.
We’ll be direct: as a company, we are young. That is a fair thing for a homeowner to weigh before handing over a six-figure project, so here is why it isn’t the risk it looks like. Our contracts are fixed-price after design, so the number you sign is the number you pay unless you approve a written change.
Every contract carries a written workmanship warranty. We are licensed in Oregon (CCB #248237) and in Washington, bonded and insured, and accredited by the Better Business Bureau. Our Google rating is 5.0 stars, and clients have reviewed us on Google, Houzz, Yelp and Nextdoor — public records you can read before you call us.
Company age tells you how long an entity has existed. Licensing, bonding, a fixed price, a written warranty and verifiable reviews tell you what happens if something goes wrong. We carry general liability insurance and are bonded in both states. Certificates are available on request, and we provide them to your lender or HOA when a project requires it.

After the Punch List
Warranty & Aftercare
Every Masters Construction contract includes a written workmanship warranty — it is part of the agreement you sign, not a verbal assurance. Manufacturer warranties on appliances, fixtures, cabinetry and materials pass through to you, and we hand over that documentation at closeout along with paint and tile records for future touch-ups.
We schedule a post-project check-in after you have lived in the space. Houses move, and a season of Pacific Northwest weather reveals things a final walkthrough can’t: a door that needs adjusting, caulk that shifted, a drawer that settled. We handle those rather than waiting for you to chase us.

For the Trade
Working With Architects & Interior Designers
We design and build in-house, but we build from other people’s drawings just as often. If you have an architect, we take the set as issued, price it honestly, and flag constructability issues in writing rather than quietly substituting details in the field.
We also collaborate with interior designers through selections and installation, coordinating lead times, shop drawings and site conditions so specified pieces arrive on the right week and fit the built opening.
During design, we provide construction-cost feedback — real numbers on what a detail, a span or a material actually costs to build in the Portland and Vancouver market — so the drawings resolve inside the client’s budget instead of being value-engineered after bid.
